Opening of Acoustics Windows & Curtain
Wall Testing Facility

On 9 th June 2017, Jiangmen Acoustic Testing Centre celebrated the grand opening of
the new Curtain Wall & Acoustics Windows Testing Facility, which is supported by a
HOKLAS Accredited Laboratory.

This four-storey building, locates in Jiangmen, is the first facility that supports the
acoustics testing for both curtain wall and acoustics windows/balcony. With an area of
200 square metres, adaptive loudspeaker arrays in a maximum 50m long, it will help
the following products testing:

●1:1 Scale Mock Up
●Acoustics Windows (Baffle/Top Hung Type)
●Enhanced Acoustics Balconies
●Acoustics Fins
●Field/Laboratory Acoustics Windows Test in compliance with ISO16283 Part 3

This facility is the latest establishment of Jiangmen Acoustic Testing Centre. The
whole Jiangmen centre occupied total area of approximately 4000 square
metres,possess a wid range of acoustic testing facilities, including
vertical/horizontal/ceiling flanking STC, IIC, sound absorption test, rain impact noise,
silencer test, etc, all the above tests are in compliance to corresponding ASTM, ISO
and BS standards.
